NFT sales surge led by DMarket on Ethereum
On August 11, 2024, DMarket, a Mythos-based NFT collection, led the surge in non-fungible token (NFT) sales with an impressive performance of $733,528, according to data from CryptoSlam. DMarket, which features in-game items for popular games like Counter-Strike and Dota 2, has reached an all-time sales volume of $485.22 million, ranking it as the 14th largest collection in the NFT industry.
Following closely behind, the Guild of Guardians Heroes collection on the Immutable blockchain secured the second spot for the day, with a sales volume of $531,721, though this represented a slight dip from the previous day's $591,119.
In third place was Kgirl, a Polygon-based collection, with $475,659 in daily sales. Solana NFTs also made a strong showing, with DeGods and the DogeZuki Collection taking the fourth and fifth spots, with sales of $332,921 and $311,838, respectively.
While Mythos, through DMarket, led the individual collection sales, Ethereum emerged as the top blockchain in terms of overall sales volume, recording $2.7 million. Solana followed with $1.94 million, highlighting the continued dominance of these two blockchains in the NFT space.
