DMarket snatches NFT sales lead from CryptoPunks
DMarket has surged to the top of the NFT sales charts, overtaking the iconic CryptoPunks collection. According to CryptoSlam data, DMarket recorded daily NFT sales of $643,600 on Thursday, marking a significant achievement in the competitive NFT market. This boost pushed DMarket's all-time sales volume to $492 million, bringing it close to becoming the 14th NFT collection to surpass the half-billion dollar milestone.
Solana's DeGods collection secured the second spot with daily sales of $586,670, a substantial increase from $186,567 the previous day. The Ethereum-based Bored Ape Yacht Club followed closely, ranking third with $550,430 in daily sales.
In fourth place was the Black Myth Wukong collection, inspired by the popular game, which garnered $533,257 in sales from just 87 transactions. Immutable’s Guild of Guardians Heroes rounded out the top five with $501,415 in sales.
Ethereum maintained its dominance as the leading blockchain for NFT transactions, although its daily sales dipped to $5.02 million from $6.15 million the previous day. Solana's blockchain, the second most active, saw daily sales of $2.76 million, an increase from the previous day’s $2.03 million.
This shift in the NFT landscape highlights the dynamic nature of the market, with new collections like DMarket rising rapidly and established collections continuing to perform strongly.
