This Week in Crypto Games: CryptoKitties Hit Telegram, 'X Empire' Flip-Flop, and 'Moonray' Goes Mobile

CryptoKitties is back, launching as a Telegram crypto game called CryptoKitties: All The Zen. This marks the first official release for the classic Ethereum NFT collection since 2017. Players can upgrade and unlock in-game cats by tapping and rubbing an egg, with progress linked to future airdrops on the Flow network as the collection prepares for its relaunch.

The Elon Musk-themed Telegram game, X Empire, ended its mining phase earlier this week but surprised players with a new "Chill Phase," extending the game for a short period before the token airdrop expected in late October. An additional 5% of the total X token supply has been allocated for this new phase, giving players a chance to earn more rewards.

The creators of the Ethereum-based game Moonray announced a mobile spinoff set for early 2025. The mobile auto-battler will share the same post-human universe as the original and allow players to unlock special content with Moonray tokens. The game will feature Web3 integration, promising more strategic depth compared to other auto-battler games like Teamfight Tactics.

These updates, along with token airdrops and new releases, demonstrate the growing momentum in the crypto gaming space, offering players more immersive and reward-driven experiences.
